The Riverbrook Regional YMCA and Wilton Library have announced a call for artists to design and paint crosswalks in a way that organizers have described as “vibrant, inclusive … in honor of Pride.” A panel of judges will select one design from all submissions. Read more about it here!

Design Requirements
Inspiring and Inclusive: Your design should celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and promote acceptance and understanding.
Bold and Colorful: Use vibrant pride colors and striking imagery to create a visually stunning crosswalk.
Durable and Weather-Resistant: Your design should withstand the elements and remain vibrant for months to come.
Guidelines
No offensive symbols, words or depictions
Artwork must be original and unpublished.
Artwork must fit the dimensions of the crosswalks
Submission Guidelines
Submit a high-resolution digital file (JPEG, PNG, or PDF) of your design.
Include a brief description explaining the inspiration behind your design and how it represents the LGBTQIA+ community.
Email your design and description to info@wiltonpride.org by March 31, 2025. Please include your name, pronouns, and age.
Crosswalk Dimensions
YMCA (Crosswalk 1): 24.5 feet long x 8.5 feet wide
YMCA (Crosswalk 2): 25 feet x 6 feet
Wilton Library (Crosswalk 1): 17.91 feet long x 7.5 feet wide
Wilton Library (Crosswalk 2): 17.41 feet long x 7.6 feet wide
Selection Process
A panel of judges will review all submissions and select the winning design based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the project's goals. Results will be announced on April 21, 2025
Prize
The winning artists will receive a cash prize of $200 for each design chosen and be presented with the award the day of the install date.
