This spring, Wilton is set to transform once again. Wilton Pride and the Wilton Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the return of the 4th Annual Pride Adopt-A-Shop program, an initiative that turns the town center into a living gallery of allyship, inclusion, and civic spirit.
Think of Adopt-A-Shop as the colorful, warm-weather counterpart to Wilton’s beloved winter holiday window traditions. The program pairs local businesses with residents—ranging from faith groups and sports teams to Scout troops and families—to design eye-popping, Pride-themed storefront displays.
By "adopting" a shop, participants do more than just decorate; they foster a town-wide atmosphere of belonging. The initiative aims to:
Visible Allyship: Ensure the LGBTQ+ community feels celebrated in the heart of our town.
Economic Energy: Drive foot traffic to downtown storefronts through festive, artistic displays.
Unity in Action: Bridge the gap between local commerce and community groups to prove Wilton is a home for everyone.

Participation is open to any organization or group looking to sponsor and decorate a storefront.
First-Come, First-Served: Storefront pairings are limited and fill up quickly.
Creative Support: All participating groups will receive guidance and instructions from Wilton Pride and the Chamber to ensure a cohesive and professional display.
The Goal: A visual pledge that our town is a welcoming home for all.
